Mixed-Media Explorations – Live Online Class for Ages 16–18 / Saturdays, October 18 – December 6, 2025
This interactive class encourages older teens to combine multiple materials and techniques to create innovative, expressive works of art. Students experiment with drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, and found objects to explore texture, color, composition, and narrative. Each project challenges them to make creative choices, solve artistic problems, and communicate ideas visually, fostering both technical skill and conceptual thinking. By blending mediums, students gain confidence in experimenting and expressing their unique voice.
What Makes This Course Different?
Creative Experimentation: Students learn to mix materials and methods to achieve striking and meaningful effects.

Personal Expression: Projects allow students to explore personal themes, emotions, and narratives through their work.
Individualized Feedback: Each student receives personalized guidance to refine techniques, material use, and creative decision-making.
