Creative Journaling with Photography – Live Online Class for Ages 10–12 / Wednesdays, October 15 – December 3, 2025
This hands-on class introduces students to the art of storytelling through both photography and journaling. Students learn to capture meaningful images while reflecting on their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a creative journal. Each project encourages observation, self-expression, and experimentation with visual and written storytelling, helping students connect what they see with how they feel. By combining images and words, students develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them, building both creative skills and personal insight.
What Makes This Course Different?
Integrated Visual & Written Storytelling: Students don’t just take photos—they explore their ideas and experiences on paper, creating a personal narrative alongside their images.
Thematic Projects: Every assignment focuses on a theme or concept, encouraging students to think critically about composition, perspective, and meaning.
Personalized Feedback: Each student receives one-on-one guidance to refine their artistic voice, strengthen their storytelling, and grow in confidence.
Most introductory classes focus only on camera skills or basic journaling. This course blends the two, empowering students to express themselves creatively, reflectively, and intentionally—producing photography and journals that tell authentic, personal stories.
