MIND STUFF : ART PRE SALE
About the Artist
I’m a visual artist working exclusively in analog film photography and historic darkroom printing processes: silver gelatin, platinum palladium, cyanotype, and wet plate collodion. Every piece is handmade in the darkroom by me, making each one-of-a-kind and deeply physical in its presence.
My work has been exhibited internationally, is held in private collections, and will be featured in the upcoming Tokyo Art Fair. As one of the very few Black artists working exclusively in traditional analog photographic methods, my work holds both cultural and artistic significance—at a time when Black artists are making historic strides in international art markets.
About the Project: Mind Stuff
Mind Stuff is an introspective cinematic and photographic series that investigates the emotional drama between one’s past and future self. Through single-channel film installations and hand-printed photographic stills, the work explores deep psychological and existential tensions—conflict, clarity, shadow, and transformation.
Rooted entirely in analog filmmaking and darkroom printing, this project is resource-intensive, both creatively and materially. Your pre-sale support helps bring this vision to completion.
